Default Using two different connections ..

Now .. I realise I should know this but ..

Without buying an expensive router, is there a way to combine two internet connections ?

My motherboard has to ethernet ports and I have several internet connections setup at home ..

are you talking about trying to bundle two internet connections in a trunk

Every exchange in our area has been upgraded to 21CN except...you've guessed it, the exchange that we use at work

That BE package looks impressive, but its so expensive - especially when all we'd realistically get is 8Mb (2x 4Mb). No way can our business afford that at the moment.

BT does it as well but their pricing structure is as clear as mud: http://business.bt.com/bondedadsl/pricing

Unless BT sort our speed issue think we're going to have to go to cable to get better £ per Mb bandwith value.

I noted Dratek's router's are dual WAN, but only support load balancing or line redundancy. It'll work if more than one PC is browsing the net at the same time, but I don't think it increase overall throughput on a download or latency.

Certainly if we could convert our second line to a cheapo £10/month ADSL jobby, it would be worthwhile if it was just the one off cost of a router (assuming they aren't "that" expensive).

I think that's because they are doing it properly i.e. they are bonding the lines/ports at the Exchange end -- which takes extra config work etc

the other link just looks like a "software" fudge to me
