Default iMac and Airport

My white iMac's airport seems to fall asleep when I am using Safari. So to re-awaken it I have to click on the wireless icon on the taskbar, then choose 'turn AirPort off' then 'turn AirPort On'. This is getting really annoying. What can I do/check to stop it going this?

Delete it from Network Preferences then add it again, fixes a multitude. Run Applejack now and then.

I had that happen every now and again too Darren, but it was not that frequent and don't seem to get it anymore.
