HI lads,

just wondering have any of you ps3 user's come across this,
since modern warfare 2 came out have you heard of anyone's ps3 freezing and then switching itself off and continuing to do this everytime it's switched on, so ps3 unusable

this has happened to at least 3 of my online friends on mw2, two from scotland and one from england and just yesterday it started happening to my ps3 so my ps3 is now f**ked,

no but ive had mine crash just as a map is about to load - you have to go back to the xmb menue and quit then the ps3 makes a daft beep then its ok again

try doing the latest ps3 update..i had a simalair prob with assassins creed ii ,since update its now ok...

Bare in mind it can take a while to download the update. Mine took just over 3 hours!!!!

Just download it from the PSN website, takes minutes then update via USB stick.

thanks 4 the advise people, i've sorted it another way traded it in for a new slim ps3 happy days.

Nooo, hope it wasnt an original 60gb one was it? They are sought after and worth some money, I sold one on ebay recently for £375
