Ok, i was a mates today and set his PC up with CS- prob was when we played we were getting 4FPS (yes i did say 4 )

This was running a res of 600 x 400

Did a bit of investigation and it turns out he has a 2mb graphics card (yes i did say 2!)

Daft Q perhaps but if he switches to a 32mb card is that likley to solve it or is 4FPS shocking even on a 2mb card and something else must be up?

Your help is needed to get this bloke up and running ASAP so you can enjoy some hunt the newbie

Tiggs

ps- his names Timbo ([STi] Tango33) so if you see him around take the **** out of his cack card and 15 inch monitor (yes i did say 15 )

2mb GFX card, wtf cpu is he running? Had one of them on me P133 like 5 years ago. I think we can definetly say that is your problem. You might have a bit more joy with some better drivers or using D3d over Opengl as being that old a card it wont support it. If its that old he'll need PCI and u can get a 32mb TNT for new around £30 these days so no excuse really.
