Broke into 1:37 but i'm not going to get my car much faster than that as its struggling for grip big time and its no where near as quick as Jack's in a straight line so i'm going to have to give in on this one or buy some different mods and drop some of the ones I have to see if I can get better grip.

Been following this thread for a few days so decided to join in today 
Managed a 1.36.578 in my 05 STi Not a single engine mod, just chassis mods etc.
Reckon I could get a 1.35 as i'm massively slow around the middle section (the bit between going under the bridge & passing over it). Have got the chassis sorted enough for only a very small lift after the jump Will keep trying.
I sent a friends request to a few people from here also, so if anyone sees me online feel free to shout for a race. My Xbox login is boogat79 btw.

I think I'm gonna try a different upgrade path with mine.

I pretty much went with all handling and not much power. I tried a slightly different tuning approach with the newage sti that you sent me but couldn't beat my 22b. Probably need to spend more time as I haven't spent ages doing it.

Bugger, took off all the engine mods, popped on some race tyres, put on a race air filter and I blitzed my previous (and carefully power modded) B-Spec time! Now have a 1:36:052 
Just goes to show, I'm ****e at picking good tuning products
Don't think I could get a mid 1:35 out of it though, there's not enough adjustability in the car (standard gears, suspension & aero).
I could pump the tyres up I guess

May have to go & try a few engine mods... How does everyone find the 3rd weight loss option (rollcage etc.) as it massively bumps up your PI for the car. Will try dropping that down a peg & using the PI to mod the engine.

The only reason I know a 1:34 is out there is that I did my 1:35:500 in my first 3 laps. The gearing is miles out and I'm still suffering lots of understeer, so fixing that will bring .5-1 sec on that lap without any trouble.
Ben ... we need to get in the same race and duke it out

Sounds good... bit concerned as just had another crack and struggling to beat that time... Need to make the most of my last PI point i've got spare!!??
Next time your online we'll have a race... should be good fun..

I cant get anywhere near your guys times on this lap and I have tried it with NSX-r's, evos, rs4's, scoobies, TT's and even a r34gtr drivetrained nissan 200sx!
Guess its just one of those tracks that I will never do well on
