Default TalkTalk email via outlook?

Hi,

Ive just installed TalkTalk broadband on my PC. Totally painless apart from not being able to receive e-mail in outlook. On installation, the talktalk cd configured the POP3, stmp, etc OK. For some reason, I can sent e-mail, but not recieve it??

Can anybody help?

Cheers,

Matt.

No error is given - it just wont let the incoming mail in (no junk filters are on). The mail is there are you can see it in talktalk webmail!?!?

When you run the settings check in outlook, it passes the outgoing and hangs during the incoming??

So outlook is not gving any kind of error when the "hang" occurs. Is it Outlook or Outlook Express and also, what version?

Have a read of this post and see if it helps. It might also be worth checking here as it lists setups for various versions of Outlook/Outlook Express
