Default mouse driver

Any idea where to get the standard mouse driver for xp?
My mums PC seems to have deleted it and now she can't use the mouse??

The XP cd

Have you tried plugging it in once you have logged into XP ? It should auto detect it and then install it. I'm guessing it is a USB mouse ?

unless your mums using a serial mouse, drivers are unheard of these days.

do a system restore, that should help.

Tried all of the above already, won't have any of it.
Have a USB and Serial, but neither are being recognized by xp.
