when installing a new server and selecting client licence type.
Which would you choose, per user or per server (#of users?)

Per server

Per Server mode tends to be the most economical designation for Windows CALs in computing environments where a small number of servers have limited access requirements.

this would be the normal company setup then? Per Server & select client licences?

Tomcat is an Apache 'Java' Server thing

, but if its this you mean then yeah,

I run Tomcat 4.1 iirc with windows 2003 and IIS with an ISAPI /pluging/filter for the old javabeans ****.. and I mean its ****..
