lost internet connection earlier, now when i try to connect to the wireless network it starts the process off then just sits at the 'aquiring network address' stage without doing anything and not giving me a connection.

aaargh. why is this ? anyone ?

 

Had this before, I just cancelled the 'aquiring network' box and found that I was already connected to the network.

Give it a go, might be the same for you.

 

Do you have a router/adsl modem combo if so power off wait 30 secs ,power back on ,restart the pc and it should renew the ip address
