how do you do split screen video, which software allows for 2 different camera angles in split screen or multiple windows in one screen?

I use premiere pro, and you can easily do that, (amongst other things). Not cheap though...

i cant use premier to save my life lol. am trying to learn, but if you want simplicity then unlead(?) video studio is good

I actually find premiere really easy to use, and it offers so much more flexibility than ulead, pinnacle studio etc. I was up and being productive with it within about an hour of installing it!!!

If you're finding it hard to learn, have you followed the tutorials in the instruction book (and the video tutorials on the dvd) that comes with it?

i dont think video studio can do split screen. I think probably premiere is the only one that can do something as complex as that

I use Premiere Pro also. Once you grasp the basics of the package it is really easy to use.

just d/l premiere pro to see what its like & yep looks like lots going on there

trying to work out how to have 2 videos running at once...

It's easier to see it rather than explain it! You need to choose one of the special effects (cannot remember exactly which one - zoom I think) that allows you to change the size of the video. This will allow you to put it to one half of the screen.

Then, for the second half of the screen, grab the bit of video you need, drop it to Video 2, and then using the same effect as above, you can position it to the other half of the screen.
