DVD only in the UK according to all the websites I've seen (gameplay, amazon, game, play.com, computernadvideogames.com etc).

I suppose they might have a differnt release in the US...

Hello

Strangely it's only available on CD in the States? Why would that be?

some stores in the us mistakenly started selling it prior to official release date (16th?)

the kid who bought it took some photos:

the unfortunate thing is to run the game it first has to be activated via the internet (like WinXP), and the activation servers aren't runnig til the release date. Poor guy is stuck with this years top game and can't run it!

Hello

I saw it on sale yesterday. At one of the companies mentioned above. But it's on CD! I will have a wander back today and see it's still on sale after all this interest on the internet.

That sucks, what if you havn't got web access for games or like me none whatsoever?

That could also be a pain in the **** in the future if you wanted to play on a PC without a connection, or the activation servers close?

If there weren't so many software pirates about, then they wouldn't have to do things like this to try and protect their interests...

LEUVEN, like WinXP I imagine they'll also supply a tel no. where you can manually activate it over the phone.
