Although XBConnect is free so I can see the advantage with that....

I was the same ... I didn't play live much for a while because all the games you went into were full of yanks bashing there way through everyone.

I find it a lot better with a group that play fair and are fast.

PGR2 night would be good. Maybee a week or so after the Halo2 launch just so I can complete it before moving on

TBH I have not been on PGR2 for months now, what with Fable, KOTOR, THUG2 and now GTA:SA using up my spare evenings.. and now we have Halo2 just around the corner...

I still have loads of games that I have barely played yet - nowehere near finishing them anyway - Ninja Gaiden, RBR, MOH Rising Sun, Burnout 3, Splinter Cell 2 and so on.

I usually like to finish a new game before buying a new one, but all the above were cheap specials so I bought them all - now need to finish them off, but GTA:SA will put paid to that.

I'm also on tonight if anyone fancies a race, although I'm not as quick as I was!! Out of practice!!

So how about a game of Toca2 tonight....have seen much of Black and Twigster lately althought just thinking about it I can already hear Twig moaning with one excuse after another

I can run a 6 minute 15 round the ring in a GT1, and 6:05 in a TVR! Best time I know of is a 5:57 or something like that, set in a speed 12. That involves corner cutting and shift-glitches though so it's not truly reflective. (Shift glitch is hitting handbrake as you change up, keeps the revs slightly higher between gears so makes each change worth a tenth of a second or so).

I'll be on tonight although I am more rusty on TOCA than I am on PGR, so that is bad!!

Squizz mate, not sure on GTR yet mate, although I expect it to be out fairly soon (here's hoping!!)

Got me butt kicked by ScoobyDoo last night on TOCA, but I blame the crappy cars he was driving!!

I think it's definitely worth setting a game up on either PGR or TOCA, owuld be nice to see some of the old names having a go again, even the squirrel seems to have gone all quiet of late!!


So who's up for it then, and when??

Prefer TOCA nowdays than PGR, a good 6-8 player session would be good. Still like the 10-15 lap seat races with pitstops

How about next Monday night at 9pm then? Misses battlestar so no excuses for not making it!!
I would say do TOCA and PGR, a 50lap race at Bathurst in V8's on TOCA with 2 mandatory stops, followed by some races on PGR!

Just been looking into this XBConnect thing. I don't have net access at home yet, nor do I have a PC, plus I'm a Mac man. Looks like Aquaduct2 will do the job though, so, if/when I get connected, I think I might indulge in a bit of this.

Quick Q, as I'm going to be NTSC, can I still play against PAL users?
