One for the Mac lads - can I use a PC screen on a G3 Mac ?
Mrs STi-Frenchie's G3 (blue and white) Mac screen has died this morning and we urgently need to find a way to get a monitor onto the machine again. Can I simply connect a PC screen (i.e. mine!) to the Mac and expect it to work or do I need an adapter of some kind? I'm not at home as I write so haven't been able to try it out for myself but colleagues reckon it won't work that simply.
Thanks in advance.

I think you should be OK, I think the BW was pre-ADC so it should slot straight in. If not then you will need a adc-vga convertor or whatever its called.

Yes you can, the Blue and White G3 has the 3 rows of pins so most PC monitors will work, I currently have a Dell monitor hooked up to my old B&W.
