I want to take a news feed from someone and display it on a site.
Problems I have are a) no idea how to do it and b) using a mac web server so no perl/cgi/asp etc.
Thanks, but I don't want or need a lecture on how stupid you think I am using a Mac web server. They are not that bad and there are reasons why I am using it!
Anyone done this sort of stuff. I would like to use javascript to parse the XML and generate links to the stories on my home page.
The server has Lasso on it and I have seen some examples of how to convert database records into XML.
I think I just need to link to the XML file and maybe created an xml stylesheet or summint or other...
Any (helpful ) ideas?
Cheers,
Rich
