Iphone & Iphoto downloads

Hi,

Anyone know an easy way to download all the pictures from iCloud to iPhoto on the iMac (10.10.5) so when I get my new iPhone I don't lose the pictures when I pass the current iPhone to someone else.

I'm assuming you mean Photos, not iPhoto since that went bye bye a few years ago. I don't personally use the cloud however whenever I am switching iPhone's I just create a backup in iTunes then "restore" the new phone from that backup. Everything is transferred across including any pictures that are locally stored. I would assume that would make everything available from the cloud on your new device too.
