Looked into it, its a PITA from what i can tell. Micro pc's using windows are easy to use, setup etc because they are based on windows. RPI needs to be setup then expanded etc

Minix are ok, so long as small disk and 4GB RAM are enough for the intended use.

Had quite a few Gigabyte Brix over the years - they tend to be full on i5 / i7 pc's though so might be out of your budget.

They are very good - although a bit noisy when on 100% CPU

Have you seen this at eBuyer for less than a ton?

Not a lot of memory (or internal disk), but it did tempt me!

I bought a NUC from quiet pc . It has I5 intel processor twin hard drives Bluetooth, HDMI and 4 usb sockets. It's very fast quiet. I had problems with stability at first, this was down to poor design bios which intel released an updated version. Since then it's been perfect. I use it for my online cycle training, Zwift, Trainer Road, Bkool, BigRingVR etc. All these simulators work fine. Dimensions 100*100*50mm
