Default iOS dodgy videos doing the rounds.

Be extra careful opening random videos for a while, there's at least one doing the rounds that will crash your device.

Power cycle it to get it going again. Hold power and home till it restarts or power and volume up on the 7.

It's very simple. Simple to fix too, and luckily easily to roll out.

Shouldn't need a fix in the first place, never heard of such a weak insecurity. Pretty poor from something that is supposed to be 100% secure

What's100% secure? Nothing as far as I can see. The best you can do is make sure your device manufacturer will support your device for a long time, Apple is your best bet here by far. Imagine a similar case on Android where only 0.01% of users are up to date!!!

Yea well it hasn't happened under Android with some dodgy vid, so you point is irrelevant. And i don't know what you are on about, major/security updates come thick and fast on Android and have done for years.

That's why it's news, it's somewhat new, at least on iOS. I thought it would spread like wildfire, but I'm wrong, people just aren't as malicious as they used to be.

You don't need anything like as clever on Android, just a pretty icon.
