Gaming PC -£1000 budget
So I'm not too clued up on the whole PC gaming scene, but do love my console gaming. I'm going to need a PC soon so might as well make the transfer to PC gaming and enjoy nice frame rates! I have a £1000 budget(will consider a bit more if it's required), what do You guys recommend? Links would be helpful. I don't need a monitor but will require a keyboard and mouse.

I have used Overclockers for years and I mean years.
Having always built my own PC's its just a case of selecting the right bits.
I built both myself and my son a Gaming rig each as soon as he wanted to do
something different other than use a consul.
Give them a call and tell them what you are after and your budget.
As above thought If you want something decent your looking more at £1500
I spent just over £500 on a graphics card alone but that supports 4K gaming
4k monitors don't come cheep either. The gaming quality and difference to a consul is night and day however the gaming community is no where near what it is with say X-box or PSN
Luckily I have a fair few friends which still game on PC's so we can catch up for some FPS

Cheers for the info guys. I'm not looking to run 4K games at 60 FPS, I just want to be able to play games in a fairly decent resolution with good frame rates. Certain games like Just Cause 3 (for example) are sometimes borderline un-playable on console, would be nice to just play them properly for once.

Ideally you would want to configure one of those and replace the vid card with an Nvidia 1080 GTX though. And increase the RAM speed to at least 3200mhz.

Problem is you need a full system, monitor (£100 ish) windows (£100) ish so theres £200 gone already.
Gaming graphics card is gonna be £400-500
CPU £200-300
and there's your £1000 gone still needing to add MB, Ram, case, cooler, PSU, monitor, SSD, HDD etc etc

Ram is dirt cheap at the moment. Chassis goes up to 64gb
PCIE slot is 16x - I don't see why you'd need more than this?

A budget rig will not play games in 4K at reasonable settings 
Even a 1060 or 1070 GTX wouldn't cut the mustard for gaming at high settings with the frame rates the OP is expecting. OP do you really need to game at 4K? 1080p I expect would be ok for you.

I know £1,000 is a lot of money to spend on a luxury item in life but in PC terms it doesn't get you a lot especially when it comes to a gaming rig, the higher end decent graphics cards are £500 upwards to well over £1k, your going to need a decent case to house all this new hardware in, one that will potentially take a longer graphics card and will have good ventilation. Your going to need a good cooler whether that's an AIO, air cooling or water cooling, i doub't you'll go down the latter route. You'll want to upgrade any stock case fans which are generally rubbish and loud, again it's additional cost. A Decent mobo will cost you a fair chunk, decent speed ram, you'll need a decent processor so nothing bottlenecks. You'll need a decent PSU to power that lot, depending on what GPU you get will depend on what PSU to get. Like someone mentioned above you'll need an operating system, deffo get a quality SSD with decent storage.
If that were me and i had your budget i'd look at places like AV forums in the classifieds, you get people selling used components that are still under warranty, a lot of the time they are not very old. Obviously make sure any components are compatible with your mobo socket version etc, you'll get more for your money going down that route than buying brand new.
