Angry TV installation…NO SIGNAL !!!!

One last effort before I resort to calling in a TV engineer.
We moved into the bungalow last August. New led TV works fine in lounge on satellite/freeview.
Usual redecorating/carpets/lots of TLC to correct mess left by previous owner.
Just finished main bedroom. Put a new TV onto wall, aerial socket renewed (correctly wired). All connected, auto tuning results in " NO SIGNAL " ! expletive !
Tried two other aerial sockets in the bungalow, including the original one in the lounge and same result !
Digital aerial outside, cable comes into booster box in loft, (aerial lead goes into UHF IN socket, FM IN not used) all connected and working, led light lit, tried switching off/on, all cable connections to it tight and firm, still no signal.
So ….. anything left to try/do/hit with hammer !!!! before I call in a TV engineer to see if they can sort it ??!!
Cheers
Brian.

I have just tried bypassing the booster box and that made no difference, still no signal.
Led tv in lounge uses freesat, not Sky.
Update…
I have found that the tv in the lounge will retune to free view from the lounge aerial socket and works fine. The new tv with builtin free view will not tune in..no signal, so I am thinking a tv problem and not aerial.
I will phone the helpline tomorrow and see what they say/suggest.
Cheers
Brian.

OK, might be daft, but are you sure it's source is correctly set?

Does bedroom tv actually have freesat built in

Our freeview just basically dried up, we were forced into putting freest dish

Have you tried tuning the Bedroom TV in the Lounge to see ?

I had a issue where none of my TV`s would scan and find channels, but I knew my neighbours was fine as I had installed it for them, so I just took my TV round, scanned and when I got it home it was fine.

Easy to confirm plug new bedroom TV in lounge where signal is proven to work. If you still get no signal=faulty TV.

Alternatively take main TV from lounge and plug in bedroom to test cabling

Thanks for all the helpful comments/ideas etc.
Current TV works with current digital free view aerial and re- tunes OK, new TV won't.
I contacted the supplier today and they are collecting the set to test-repair or replace.
We will await the outcome.
Cheers
Brian.

The update as promised.
The Blaukpunkt TV was purchased from UMC via their ebay auction.
It was returned this morning with the following advice note …

"Replaced faulty main board with a new one & updated software.
Issue has been resolved.
TV tested OK ! "

So back on the wall, and it works fine, signal good, all stations loaded and playing as they should.
There was me thinking that something new out of the box would work with no issues, especially a TV (quality control etc) but not in this case. UMC were fine , no problems and quick repair.
Thanks for all the advice.
Cheers
Brian.
