Still useing my iPad after nearly five years
Also have the iPad mini one too
Think there is a lap top lying around somewhere in the house that's laid around for years
Pc on the loft somewhere amd the computer desk ended uo on the fire
Although I'm useing my iPhone 6 plus a lot since Xmas days and I've never worn my reading glasses since Xmas day after upgrading from my iPhone 5
Will get the iPad air 2 when the iPad finally dies the death
Only thing is the iPad crashes when I use fb maybe it's getting old ?

That's good going. I went from iPad 2 to iPad Air 2, the old one was good enough for my mother and this new one is stunning.
The iPad was indeed a game changer.

Ipad 1 sits in the lounge for either the kids to play the occasional game on (that they don't have on their own tablets) or for internet radio for the budgie, he loves it
My ipad 2 64gb was replaced under John Lewis free 3 year warranty last year 1 week before it ran out so current one is only a year old and so hopefully will get years out of it yet.
I'd like the air 2 but can't justify spending out on one even when deals come up, the ipad 2 is still so good as it's still on ios7.

1st ipad i bought was the ipad2,great at the time a few years back,as with all apple products, after a few updates they run slower ........
So its in an extra padded case and my youngest has it(used to go on it anyway) but now his own. Decided to try the air2 and surprised how thin/small it is in comparison yet still same screen.
Of course runs as it should..........thanks apple and had 160mb/s from a speed test. Only gone for the 64gb as i dont use for films or music, just general surfing/news etc
Dont use it that often, just night time for a few mins ..........not for that
Out of all the tablets, imo apple still have the best feel/touch screens,or at least from the ones i have tried. Having had last few iphones,i do like the user friendly UI .
So a from me anyway

Yes good as they might be the original concept was was obviously slightly flawed
Why else would you produce a smaller version of the same thing
Iv used / got a windows 10" tab and ok the bigger picture is nicer , but to type on my 7" tab is far more comfortable ..and it's easier to carry round
And then I wonder why iv got 10" at all...( may as well just spring open the laptop)

They only produced the Mini after the other manufacturers once again failed to make a device of that size work. I think they do it just to keep rubbing in to the others how good they are at this sort of thing. Let's be honest outside of the iPad what other tablet is really popular. None!!!

As an IT professional for over 25 years I was a fan of Windows until Vista. The rot set in and with a Unix background I eventually took a good hard look at OSX. Finally moved over and since then have moved to using Apple products exclusively.
At the end of the day they just work, yes I am sure other products have some better ideas and features, but Apple kits seems to work together and just makes my job easier. All IMO, couldn't care less about he whole Windows/OSX or IOS/Android debate.... I just use what works for me and f**k anyone who has a different opinion Joke btw
