Exclamation Polished Bliss end their association with Zymol

Hi folks, first big piece of news this year from us is that we have decided not to renew our licenced detailer and reseller status with Zymol. This may come as a surprise to some of you, but there are numerous reasons for making this decision, of which the most important are as follows...

Firstly, the cost of the annual renewal fee for the detailer licence has doubled from what was originally agreed in our contract to a staggering $10,000, and paying out this sum for what essentially amounts to being able to use the Zymol trademarked logo and Zymol copyrighted images makes little financial sense. Secondly, one of the major plus points of becoming licenced is supposed to be protection in the form of Zymol taking prompt action against anyone using their trademarks or images illegally, thus ensuring that the market for Zymol detailing services remains focused on licenced detailers. Such a policy is understandably hard to police, but in the UK it has failed completely and no such protection has been afforded. Thirdly, we have worked incredibly hard over the last twelve months to promote the Zymol brand, yet there has been little if any support or thanks offered in return. After paying a substantial licence fee, this is very poor given how important licenced detailers are to the image of the brand.

The last thing to say on the matter is sorry to all of our customers who have ordered Zymol products from us over the last year and who will now be unable do so again in the future. There are a number of other Zymol resellers in the UK who will serve you well in the future, and we will happily point you in their direction should you need assistance. For customers interested in our detailing services, nothing has changed and full details of the options available can be viewed in the detailing services section of the website.

PS - For a more in depth read about our decision and experiences working with Zymol over the last 12 months, please see this thread on DW (you'll need to be a member)...

Sounds like Zymol have lost the plot to me do they not see that it’s the true professionals like PB that protect and enhance there product image seems very short sighted to me. The whole PB company seems to offer the perfect image and more importantly customer support that such a top end brand must need ?????

They have lost out mate, any plans to introduce another top end brand

Lol, 'fraid not - we have to sell stock in hand back to them, all part of the contract.
