Air con makin horrible noise not used can i get rid of drive belt to unit its an 02 w

Air con makin terrible niose can i get rid of drive belt to unit no longer used with fitting new full alloy rad.

The AC Belt adjuster is a common fault if it helps.

Exactly what I done just removed the belt
