Default This Place Has Gone To The Dogs

I can't be the only one who feels like this?

How do I close my account down? This forum has been in it's death throws for a long time and it's time to take my leave of the place.

Easy Just sign out and don't come back on site again
Then let's see how long that lasts ....

Tried it myself on many occasions pal but failed miserably

Lack of moderation, the site has lots of functions that don't work since recent 'improvements' and a lot of the community spirit that used to be here has long since gone.

It's a shame really as this site used to be great, but it's gone downhill over the last few years.

Thanks, I try to help but feel far less inclined to do so when IB show so little interest in the site.

Come to think of it who are the moderators and administrators of the site now?

I know what you mean but once I've made a decision I stick with it, but I might just log off and see how I feel in a few months.

It's a single make car forum though. It's a very good resource for what it is - there is usually someone to answer a question or offer advice.

If you just want to chat, there are plenty of other more suitable forums.

You kind of get used to not posting as much and ignoring all the threads that's just not interesting enough, mods, well I don't really feel the need for them as just ignore the stuff that's not of interest and post on that are of interest or what mood I'm in.
Agree though, it's a dead forum, only 1 page of fresh thread per week nearly.

That just about knocks the nail on the head, nothing wrong with enthusiastic amateurs but there's very little input any longer from the professional side of forum. Plus of course IB just seem to be not bothered in the slightest.

I can remember when the forum was a far more vibrant place than what it's now become, it was full of interesting projects and technical threads which are what interested me. There's very little of that at all now.

It's a shame as it used to be a good forum, I personally think that the people who's threads I used to read have just got sick of the place and moved on.

Go back to your car wash, learn some basic literacy and numeracy skills that might bring you up to the level of most 5 year old children.

Fair enough but you've been here 9 years and the more interesting cars are 10years old or more. So you've probably read everything there is to read and seen every project already.

Not always the best source of info, just because something works ok on their car doesn't mean it will on someone else or is the best thing.

I remember when one set up a company doing flash maps claiming it worked on my car so be fine on everyone else's.

he was 7 for 20, thats engines blown up of the cars he flashed

Placed is knackered
Bring back
PS lewis
F1FAN
And even tubby again
To spice things up
With classics 17-23 years old now most have rusted away or Brocken for parts
A few hardcore of us are going through massive renovations
All 09 + engines have gone POP now
No future for scooby owners as no one is saving uo for a new modle incase they blow up and lots have lost confidence in subaru after engine failures
Chavs have come in and gone which gave us a bit of entertainment
All the Subaru clubs scenes had disspaeared
No run outs anymore
No NBO to look forward to
Everything that has been discussed has been done and no point repeating it
Never mind a few hardcore blokes are left who fetch them out for the shows
