Default Zee German is going.....

I decided I wanted something newer, initially the plan was to trade in the bmw for a newer gen 3 bike but something else caught my eye.

The bmw was clean but for the trade in I gave the bike another clean

So the deal has been done and Iíll be collecting the replacement bike on Saturday.

Ducati Panigale 1299s, immaculate, sounds amazing with the Akrapovic cans fitted, just a superb well looked after machine thatís a complete and utter jizzfest!

Cool

Jizzfest is an understatement - That is one hell of a good looking bike, beautiful... And don't even get me started on those wheels!

It’s going to be a long winter.I have no plans with the bike other than fitting a DP oversized screen and maybe a smaller tail tidy. It currently has one but it’s not as neat as I’d like, still much better than the standard one.

I fitted the C-Tek charging lead for the trickle charger, there is a connector underneath the seat for a Ducati charger and the only adaptor I could find that would fit the C-Tek lead was in America so it made sense to just fit the connector I already had, albeit a pain in the ****.

I’ve only rode the bike back from the dealers, roughly 65 miles in total and I’ve washed the bike 3 times, the last time was more for degreasing the chain, then lubricating up ready for the winter. It’s now undercover and I’m starting it every 2 weeks.

Was sat on one of these a couple of weeks ago in the showroom, stunning bikes. Not sue how long I could sit in the saddle though, age maybe getting the better of me...

I did a track evening on the bike awhile back, must’ve been 4 weeks ago roughly, it was the Friday before the first race weekend at East Fortune, the conditions were dry but cold, bike is awesome on track but I’d definitely need to do another day to get the hang of it, I was just starting to get the hang of it as we got closer to the end of the 2hr open session.

I’ll upload a few vids to YouTube showing the movement from the rear end down the back straight, I was on Pirelli Rosso 3 tyres which are awesome but are more road biased than track even though they did well.
