Post AST coilover kit group buy

Hi:
If there is sufficient interest we are going to organise a group buy on the amazing 12way adjustable AST coilover suspension kits. We are looking at £850.00 + VAT including fitting and 4 wheel alignment. This would normally cost £1020.00 + VAT. If you are interested please list your names below.

Cheers Rich

Hi Rich

Which model kit is this group buy for

sportline I, II or Competition kit?

How long is the GB going to last?

Andy:

I estimate it to run until the end of February (this could change depending on numbers), the GB is for sportline 1 dampers (as fitted to the T25) to fit all Impreza models.

Cheers

Hi Rich

Would you be able to give a description of performance / specs between the different Ast models and prices for each.

I am hoping to compete in the SSC06 hill/sprint championship this year and would like to know the difference between them?

I have read the thread by 911- Graham Loakes, and are aware that he will be trialing the competition kit soon. I will keep an eye on his thread, but any further info on the AST products would also be very useful.

cheers

Andy

Damn you and your temptation !

If these will go on a Forester I will be sorely tempted - should do I think as the Impreza Sti struts and springs will go on. Grateful if you can confirm pls.

What spring rates do these use? and how would they compare to a STi 4 setup in regards to ride firmness.

I asume that these are for both classic and newage?

Hi Rich,

Just popping my name down as interested - I think the original suspension on my Classic might be a little tired after 90,000 miles!!

Hopefully I'll have my Scoob back by the end of Feb - it's in the bodyshop having some rear-end damage repaired - if it takes longer, do I still qualify for the group buy?

Cheers,
Steve

Bartop:
As far as I am aware the forester strut is longer than the Impreza.

andy97:
This will only be for the Impreza sportline 1 dampers

RoRu:
We can fit what ever springs you want, we would recommend for road use, Classic:- 40Nmm front 30Nmm rear. New Age:- 50Nmm front 30Nmm rear. They will be slightly more compliant than the STI4 dampers.

julian N/W wrx my93 + WUZ:
You can only get the above mega deal if we carry out the fitting. We are willing to give a 10% discount to any one who can't make it up to us which means the kit will cost £765.00 + VAT instead of £850.00 + VAT. But look on the brightside there is a good reason we have probably 4 wheel aligned more impreza's than anyone else in Europe.

spider:
I am sure we can sort something out

Cheers Rich

Is this the same suspension that '911' has fitted? If so - i'm interested in a non-fitted, no VAT kind of way!

Get your names down.

These units really are so good, and DO NOT underestimate the Powerstation alignment to utterly compliment the hardware.

I'm back for more this friday.

Graham.

IMHO:
Yes.
Too many of us have good to say about AST's (and PowerStation) to ignore.
Do you hear the same about any other make/supplier??

Wise move.
Every Powerstation customer becomes one of their Sales Team.
Same for API engines too!

Hi Rich

Interested in this group buy. As you know I have an STi7 (you kindly remapped it on your open day). The car suffers from the well known clonking, I've had several struts replaced on the rear and now fear I may have a similar sound coming from drivers side front. Will the AST kit resolve the STi7 clonking issue or is there more to it?

Cheers

Mike

That's great Rich - please pop me on the list.

Visited the bodyshop yesterday to see how soon the scoob'd be ready. They've started the panelwork but the body guy's only part-time - arrrgh!

Cheers,
Steve
