Hi guys n lady's, can any body help me as I just received a letter today from the council regarding my car and the noise it makes on start up think its my exhaust someone ones complaining about lol, I have a 3in decat on my sti at the moment think its a crobra exhaust would any body know if this backing the regulations lay down maximum permitted noise levels from exhausts? Would a sports cat help? As I don't think it will much I don't no what the council except me to do? And I'm not pushing it out of my road lol, has any guys got a 3in sports cat they want to sell please pm if so cheers, other wise do u have any ideas cheers!!! Newage blob by the way

 

Didn't know the council had any say in it ? Unless they try and slap you with an asbo ? Mine has a 3" decat on it and next door barely hear it. Tell them to get none **** windows in their house the tramps.

 

Hi fella I would if it was the neighbours but it ain't as the stupid council sent me the repile the one one that's made the complaint but don't know them lol, a visit down to the council tomorrow for me I think!! Should be fun as I work for them any way lol

Put a resonated centre section in, and a sports cat, that will help, or just get a quieter back box, to be honest, if I was a neighbour and I heard some of the cars I have heard firing up I would be pretty narked as well!

Cobra do a bigger box version, Miltek also, and Hayward and Scott, lots of options.

My HS is pretty quiet in comparison, but im changing that as well for the sake of the others, a loud exhaust dosent make you go any faster

 

I had a sports cat was still louder than my other impreza Decat it's more to do with back box id say.
