I fitted a an inner wing induction kit (same as japspeed) and cut two thirds off the pipe that fits in the inner wing, and put on a KnN filter that is 9" long and 5" wide.

I knew there would be more noise, I have been in ohter car's with induction kits fitted, but I didnt expect it to be this loud, its louder than my exhaust.

After 1 bar of boost it sounds amazing, the oem dump valve sounds great, but up to 1 bar it sounds like a very loud Darth Vader with the flu, its just a crap noise.

I fitted the filter as I was worried about a smaller filter not being able to flow enough, but does the noise level correlate with the size of filter?

Will fitting a smaller filter reduce the noise below 1 bar?
