I know its prob easy peasy but just after a little advice on removing the screws on the fuse panel under steering wheel, are there any hidden screws? I need to get access to fuses to fit my amber wire to headlights fuse for the prosport boost gauge.

There are lots of other places you can pick up the same type of wire.

With that you can find the same wire under the dash in places much easier to get to.

Is it for switched live? Or lighting live?

 

its in close proximity to the gauge location ? are there better places? the aim is to use the red and black from the old gauge but this red is acc live at ignition on, so I need to get a perm feed of something , was thinking hazard light or central locking etc.the amber wire I believe is purely for dim function when headlights come on gauge changes colour. got a volt tester but thinking fuse labelled plus and minus so if u use Subaru book should say fuse diagram ,,,, for appropriate component.
