Question Subaru dealership servicing

Hi Guys,

My car has been serviced by Subaru dealership since new.

Just wondering when they stamp the book would they have carried out all service item changes?
For example would they stamp the 60k service if the ex owner said dont change coolant and spark plugs, or is it a case of the dealer changing all required serviced items to get the book stamped?

Just trying to work outif i need to change coolant and spark plugs which should have been chnged a year ago (done 10k since service)

cheers

If its main dealer then it should be done to the schedule - its unlikely they would do a part service and stamp the book even if ask to do so. Independents are a different ball game. I've many other non-subarus serviced at small garages and they put there stamp in the book whatever they have done - worthless!

Top man as I thought! Thanks.

Guess if spark plugs and coolant were changed a year ago, they can wait another six months. Ill start getting the bits soon enough ready for the summer

You should be able to see if the coolants been changed, itll be pretty obvious tbh. The plugs id imagine should of been changed but it all depends if the tech who took the job could be arsed to do them and hasnt just signed the job sheet as done and left the old ones in there. Best bet is to pull the easiest one to access out and see if it looks new.
