Just looking for some advice here. I have a 00 uk prodrive 2000 gt turbo and the gearbox is about to fall outa her started slipping out of 5th and now very hard to get into gear when stopped so from wot i can gather its more or less fooked. My questions are now that im gona have to change it would it be possible to fit a type r box with dccd and would it be a big job rough cost? thanks...

 

I have a v6 ra 4.444 Dccd 5 speed box, complete with r180 4.444 plated rear diff, plus excedy clutch, prop etc
Looking at £1000 for the full set up
Very low ratio and flys through the gears, Dccd works as it should etc
