Can I use RCE Yellows with KYB shocks? (Bugeye WRX)

Can I use RCE Yellows with KYB shocks? (Bugeye WRX)
Or will the shocks give up the ghost quite quickly? 
It's either RCE's or some cheap H+R 35mm drop springs, which I think would probably be more suited to the KYB's in terms of height but obviously are a lesser quality of spring.
I'd like to get Tokico's with RCE springs but I'm not made of money unfortunately.. (I already have KYB's with STI springs)
Has anyone tried these combos?
