Default Newbie got a question about one of the gauges

Hi like I said I'm a newbie to the scooby world. Just bought myself a blobeye wrx 53 plate. It's got the stack gauges where the clock would be.

But noticed when the engine is warmed up and on tick over the gauge is registering 100 psi. But when driving normal it goes down to 60/65 psi.

Is this normal??

Being new I'm not that familiar with the dials.

Many thanks in advance.

Once warmed, the gauge SHOULD read lower at tickover than when running.

Mine shows 2 bar (29PSI) at tickover, once HOT, and between 4 bar (60PSI) and 7 bar when running, (100PSI).

Mine is a forged 2.5.

It looks as if your sender might be wired back to front?

Hi thanks for the reply. It's weird because when it's cold it registers 50 psi. But once warmed up and on tick over it sits at 100. But when driving it goes to 60/65.

Will take a look at the wiring thou just in case.

Thanks

Many have a plug and socket near the sender, maybe it's been inserted wrong way round?

Or at the gauge?

I'm not familiar with Stack, but they are supposed to be pretty good.

Might be as simple as +ve and -ve transposed.
