911 DIY
Had my 997 for a few months now so had time to do a fewfixes/DIY.
First thing was the air-con stopped working. Despite dealertaking it back, leak testing and re-gassing, the air-con stopped working againa week later. So, off with the front and in with new condensers. A littletricky but back together and re-gassed in a day.

Next was drain the cooling system and fit a low temperaturethermostat. Lowering the oil temp is advised as a means of avoiding the dreadedbore-score. Oil is at least 8 degs cooler since this was fitted. It was a realbu55er to fit though.

I decided to do an oil service but decided to fill with anoil advised by a respected engine rebuild expert, namely Millers Nanodrive10w50 (normally filled with 0w40).

Next was to rid the engine of a really nasty looking corrugatedair inlet hose and replace with a nice smooth Design Tek job. Sounds a littlenicer and throttle response ‘may’ be a little crisper.

Lastly, I decided to change the rear badging. Not to thepurists liking but I like;
