I'm having a problem with the DPF on my Insignia and after numerous forced regenerations (and having the EGR value replaced with the vacuum unit bit) the problem continues. The garage I use are really confused as to why it keeps going into limp mode, and they can now only suggest having the DPF replaced or removed (I know there roughly £800 + fitting) so not at all cheap.
I've been researching on Google but don't really know much about engines or diesels and don't want to take a punt on a company I've never heard of
The more I read about DPF units the more I wish I'd bought something else
To make matters worse, we only have 1 car and have a 2 week old baby girl so need to get this sorted asap
Has anyone got any recommendations of trusted companies that can perform DPF removals/remapping?
