Just got my engine ready to remove from donar car,, I can not remove the hexi cover plate..to gain access to the clutch fork pin


Has anyone had this problem,, Iv had big lever bar and just snap the hexi bit,,,

It's now holding me up

 

Make a slice in it with a 3" grinder or hammer and chisel then just tap it round with a screwdriver, happens all the time with them caps bud

 

the man says mate .give it a good whack with a hammer to shock it and use a chisel to tap it slack, if that not work just pull engine away from gearbox you can just get into clutch plate bolts and take them out and just leave the clutch assembly in place so you can remove the engine that way, it works ive done it mate
