Scooby getting top end engine rebuild

Finally got my overheating diagnosed with a head gasket fault so had to bite the bullet and get it fixed. Can't wait to get the car back.

DO get the block split and at the very least, a new set of bearings.

Scoobs have a habit of eating the bottom end just after headgasket failure:

And if you think headgasket is expensive.....

It is getting split. A subaru specialist is doin it 2grand he has quoted me is that a good price would you say?
