i need a set(16..i think..dur) of wheelnuts, as i am having the p1's off my old my00. however, beemer dealer cant put my old 17" technomagnesios on coz the p1 wheel nuts dont fit. i need them TOMMORROW! do dealers have them, please dont tell me they have to order them! i can sense a fiasco brewing!

 

If you can find a dealer that has supplied 4 cars with locking wheel nuts, he will have 16 spare normal nuts - quite likely I should say.

 

My local dealer did me 16 'pre-loved' chromed-domed wheel nuts for £20 - other than that he could offer brand new Subaru parts at (I think) £4.75 each + vat of course

cheers guys. tried 2 dealers, neither had spare nuts(ooer!). bunch of bleedin monkeys didnt even realise the p1 nuts are different.
ah well, bmw dealer sorting it for me.
incidentally, their (bmw) exact words were" don't worry sir, its our problem, we have it in hand, and it will be sorted, no need for you to worry"
thing is they are doing ME a favour, and swopping my wheels for free, and its been aggravation for them, yet they never beef, and nothings too much trouble!
now THATS what i call service. these bmw dealers ( cooper ipswich) are the BEST dealership bar none, that i have had the pleasure to do business with. can i also say that although scoobys are great cars, their sevice guys dont know their **** from their elbows!

 

I have a full set of nuts off my MY00 if you want them.
