James,

I was thinking of getting a Snap-Off Kit, but there's one thing i was unsure of.

If I was a thief who wanted to steal the car, Could I not remove the Snap off boss kit from the Car (Obviously the steering wheel would be tucked away in the house) , then fit a standard wheel to the steering column????

Or is there some sort of security stopping this being done????

Just Wondering

Im hoping to pick up my '93 wrx on monday....believe me i cant wait. I am think of having the Momo removeable Steering Wheel fitted (available from DemonTweeks around £125)

My theory being.. it will deter joy riders. You cant go anywhere without one

Do any of you folks have one fitted ...or know of any experiences.

cheers Fswfc

Thumbs up

I have the snap-off kit on my car. At the end of the day, alarms and immobilisers can be got past, but how do you drive a car with out the steering wheel?

Go for it

James
