Dear all,

Got a 2005 Blob STI with DCCD box, had it for 6 weeks now, have noticed a slight whine when accelerating in 1st gear, and a quieter whine in 2nd, rest of gears seem fine. Have changed the box and diff oil to Motul, there was no metal flakes on the magnet in the box, I can select every gear fine, but does anyone have any ideas as to what the noise could be? It sounds like the car is going in reverse.

Took it back to the dealer who told me it was a characteristic and not to worry about it, we all know how good main dealers are! Car is completely standard, no mods at all.
