Hi all,

Ive had my 2005 impreza sti ppp for 3 weeks now and im wondering if my dash lights working correctly?

they are not very bright and are like a green colour, I thought they were light up orange as start the car?

I maybe being stupid lol but just making sure mine is ok

Uk cars only got the orange defo style instruments from hawk onwards, only jdm got them on the blobs. Your instruments should be blue background with normal bulbs. The defi style from a hawk can be fitted though if you find a set.

 

ok do are they supposed to light up without switching headlights on?

 

They do not light without sidelights or dipped beam switched on, hawk ones do but require additional wiring or switch to be fitted to dim them when lights are switched on
