Default OBD2 readers info please.

What would be a good OBD2 reader to use with my 53 blob STI, I know you can use them in conjunction with smart phones now etc, does anyone have any experience with the one featured in jap performance last month?

Seems a good bit of kit for £55

I need whatever I buy to either be standalone or compatible with my iPhone.

This has all came about as I've just pulled the car off the drive to enjoy over the weekend and the nobba has started to rev itself up while at stand still and while driving, probably just the coolant temp sensor/idle control/maf etc but its thrown the management light on so that's the car parked up for the holiday weekend and me away out on the lash

Cheers for any info

Mick

I've got one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hot-U380-O...item2a2b0b9b4e

Seems to work fine. Used it to clear some error codes after an engine swap with no problems.
