Well my gearbox has finally given up the ghost after 149000 miles, MY99 Impreza turbo.

Sounds like a bearing has gone, very noisy in over run and on power in all gears, still runs and can select gears, have had the 5th gear large nut tightened about 5 years ago, but this is a different noise.

Does anyone know a good specialist that knows Subaru boxes in the northwest of England ?
