What do I need to do a 6 speed conversion on a Hawkeye WRX
I'm pretty certain my gearbox or front diff has given up on my Hawkeye WRX, I was hoping it would last longer so I could save up a bit more in preparation but it hasn't so the wife will kill me lol.
I've done loads of research but can't find any definite answers on what's needed to do the 6 speed conversion. Some people say that a Bugeye STi box, prop, starter, clutch and flywheel are all that's needed as the diff is the same ratio.
I know that a Hawkeye STi has a different PCD so don't fancy that route as it means changing wheels too.
If I get a DCCD box I believe I can get an external controller, is that true?
Will I need to change brakes? Don't really want to as I've just fitted new discs and pads, literally 50 miles ago.
Sorry for all the questions but I want to be sure I get the right stuff, if anyone has one for sale let me know. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat mate, getting a whine from the front that my garage tells me is a bearing in the diff/box.
My car is also a Hawkeye WRX so I need exactly the same advice if anyone can help?
