Hi mate it sounds like a wheel bearing (but its not) and it still makes the noise when I free wheel with the engine off and I've felt a bit vibration in the clutch pedal for a while and when I went from 1st to 2nd the other day it felt like it kick me out from 1st if you no what I mean ? Had a funny noise that i thought was a bearing going, my mechanic said, no its your rear tyres getting low, thought yeah right, tyres were prob 3/4 worn but still legal, and fronts were only 1/4 worn, when they were replaced the noise went. Might be worth looking at your tyres - doesn't cost anything
