Default Tein Super Street Coilovers

Hi abit of advice needed please ???

Basically my mate got a set of Tein Super Street coil overs, Currently on a Ver 7 STI,I would like to fit to my classic Type R they have pillow ball strut tops.

He told me the fronts should go on fine but rear strut tops wont line up so will need changing.

??? Will my standard rear strut tops go on these coil overs, any one done it etc?

Thanks for any help
