i got my first subaru i bought it as a wrx but when picked the car up it has a plate on the drivers side wing sti 94 mar 016/100 sti seats and pink strut braces back and front water spray alloy bonet and wish bones.model number gc8b48d code 61. engine type ej20 gdw2pe. transmission ty752vb3ca can any one tell me what this car is.

 

Its an STI mate.
First generation, they made 100 a month.

Back in the early days they took a WRX from the production line and transformed it into an STI, this is why the model code is the same on a WRX.

Stick a few pics up, first gen STI's are getting rare now. Has it still got the original huge rear spoiler ?

 

It is, but the official designation of early cars was WRX STi...don't the Japs love their badges?
