Rear brake shoes
hi going to have crack at changing my rear pads tomorrow .......has anyone got a step by step guide and any tips ....looks pretty straight foward but things never are with me lol
they will either be 1 or 2 pots if u look at the caliper just count the pistons and that will give u the answer. as for your brake shoes they work with your handbrake there inside the back drum of your disc. u dont need any special tools but u do neeg a g clamp to push the pistons back in!
Job is easy.
Jack up, chock front wheels, take handbrake off, and remove wheel.
Undo the caliper mounting bolts and pull the caliper away.
If you aren't doing the discs, there is no need to remove the disc.
The pads come out after removing the retaining clips. Check how they refit before removal
