Quick question guys, I have a JDM blob sti. What's a safe power level on these engines? Reason being is it has a powerstation map with full miltek system (with miltek sports cat), these are the only mods. Car is currently running 350 bhp and 380lb/ft. Is it a safe level for this lump?

 

Common consensus is that the newage JDM 2.0l is good for at least 400/400.

A lot depends on condition etc, of course.

 

Id say about 440 ish on standard internals you could push it but it would be a waiting game id day, you have a semi closed deck block and semi forged internals so @350 you should be fine, aslong as its done properly, ive heard of people runing 500/480 on an open deck block

 

It all depends on who mapped it.

No it wasn't, Powerstation are a business, it was mapped by whomever does their mapping, be it in house mapper or brought in.
