Hi all, Just bought my Subaru Impreza 96 2.0L non turbo, as its only my second car, in hunters green, she needs work so i thought id best ask here...

1st off is anyone selling a space saver?

How do i go about cleaning the spark plugs, my corsa is very simple whereas this larger engine is new to me so i dont want to ***** it up

Im going to flush the engine with redex and do an oil change

is there any cleaning/tinkering i can do to get a few horses back, and finally, when accelerating, there is a small whirring like a motor sound coming from the engine bay.

Ebay is full of space-savers. I gave mine away, they don't go for much. Just make sure you get one off a similar model or it'll be the wrong size.

Cleaning the plugs? Why not just put new ones in? They aren't easy to get out, you might as well spend the money if you are going to do the work.

 

okay thanks, i'll ave a look for both those things on ebay, any reccomended plugs?
