The performance of the aircon on my MY00 seems to have dropped off (atfer the recent 30k service, hope there's no link!). I had it recharged after a 18 months because performance had dropped off but it's only about a year since I had it done.

How often does everyone else have theirs recharged??

We had a Kia for 6 years and never had the aircon recharged, no noticable difference in performance (but not that powerful even when new).

Perhaps you can get the system pressure tested to ensure that there are no leaks, otherwise performance will be dropping immediately.

 

In theory one should never have to recharge an a/c system unless there is a leak.
